to yourself inside your mind… release that tension…. allow the muscles in your arm to become completely relaxed… and at the same time... a wonderful feeling of calmness… a wonderful wave of relaxation will wash over you… every part of you will then feel completely calm… every part of you completely relaxed… so ready…

begin to think about something now that would generally make you feel stressed… tense… or anxious… and as you begin to think about those things that would make you generally feel stressed… tense… or anxious… imagine squeezing all of that tension… all of that stress… that anxiety down to your fist…. squeeze that fist tighter and tighter… squeezing all of that tension… that stress… that anxiety into that fist…. squeeze that fist tighter and tighter and tighter… all of that stress… that tension… that anxiety being transferred into your fist…

and now mentally say to yourself…

relax…

and relax the muscles in your fist… and allow a wonderful feeling of calmness… a wonderful wave of relaxation to wash over you… every muscle… every nerve… every fiber in your body relaxing more and more...

now one of the nicest things about using this technique… is each and every time you use it… it gets better and better…. and that feeling of calmness… that feeling of relaxation… grows stronger and stronger...

so again…

and again think about something that generally makes you feel stressed… tense… or anxious and again squeeze all of that tension… that stress… that anxiety again into your fist… that fist growing tighter and tighter… as that tension… that stress… that anxiety gets transferred to that fist… and again say to yourself now inside your mind…

relax…

and relax the muscles in your fist…

relax…

and that wonderful feeling of calmness… that wonderful wave of relaxation… again washes over you… every muscle… every nerve… every fiber in your body just relaxing more and more...

more and more...

because it feels good… it feels good to relax physically… and it feels good to relax mentally more and more...

and we’ll do that one more time… and this time that feeling of calmness… that feeling of relaxation will be even stronger…

so again…

and again think about something that generally makes you feel stressed… tense… or anxious… and again make that fist and again squeeze all of that tension… that stress… that anxiety… that worry down into that fist… all of that tension… stress… anxiety being squeezed into your fist… and again say to yourself now inside your mind…

and again... llow that feeling of complete calmness… that feeling of complete relaxation to wash over you… every muscle… every nerve… every fiber in your body just relaxing more and more… calmer and calmer…

and every time you use this technique… this feeling of calmness… this feeling of complete relaxation grows stronger and stronger... this feeling of calmness… this feeling of relaxation stays with you for longer and longer…

so from this moment on… if at any time in your life… you’re feeling stressed or tense… or anxious… all you’ll need to do is make a fist… and imagine transferring that tension… that stress… that anxiety down to your fist… and once you’ve squeezed that tension… that anxiety… that stress into your fist… mentally then say to yourself…
