I want you now to imagine... to imagine or think... whatever works best... imagine or think that you are stood of the top of a staircase... a staircase with five steps leading down to a door... just imagine being stood at the top of a staircase with five steps leading down to a door... and in a few moments I will count from five down to one... and with each and every number that I count from five down to one just imagine taking a step down... becoming more relaxed... feeling calmer... becoming more and more curious to what's behind the door...

so 5... imagine now taking the first step down... becoming and feeling calmer...

4... the next step down now... more relaxed...

3... imagine now taking the next step... feeling more relaxed... becoming more and more curious to what's behind the door...

2... drifting deeper and deeper relaxed... becoming and feeling calmer and calmer... and in a few moments I will ask you to take the last step down... and I want you as you do this to imagine waiting at the door until I ask you to open the door...

and I want you now to notice... to imagine that you can pull these pieces of paper... these black pieces of paper... you can pull off the walls... and you can screw these black pieces of paper up in your hands... and you can take down these worries... you can pull down these unnecessary negative feelings... and you can screw them up in your hands... and you can then take them over to the log fire... and you can throw those pieces of black paper onto the fire and watch as they burn away into nothingness...

and I want you now to imagine doing this... imagine going over to the walls... pulling down these black pieces of paper... pulling down these unnecessary worries... pulling down these unnecessary negativities... imagine screwing them up in your hands... and now imagine going over to the fire... and imagine throwing those black pieces of paper onto the fire... throwing away those worries and those negativities... saying to yourself as you do so...

I'm free from unnecessary worries...

just imagine doing this...

imagine pulling down these pieces of paper... pulling down these worries... pulling down these negativities... screwing them up in your hands and then throwing them onto the fire... saying to yourself...

just imagine doing this and I'll give you few moments now... I'll give you a few moments of silence as you imagine doing this... imagine pulling down... taking down these worries...

A few moments of silence

and it feels good... it feels good... it feels like a weight... it feels like a burden has been lifted... lifted off you... as you clear away these unnecessary worries... every part of you feels good... every part of you feels fantastic in every way... being free... being absolutely free from unnecessary worries...

and I want you now to notice... to imagine that nice big comfy chair in the centre of the room... and I want you now to imagine going over to the chair... imagine sitting in the chair... laying back... feeling and becoming more relaxed... feeling and just becoming calmer and calmer... just imagine... sitting in the chair laying back... becoming and feeling more relaxed... just becoming and just feeling calmer and calmer in yourself...

and as you imagine just laying back in the chair...
