and that will help you to break the habit of biting your nails... and if you continue doing this... day after day... after day... you will be free... free from the habit of biting your nails... and the habit now of biting your nails is becoming a thing of the past for you... a part of the past... and because it is a thing of the past for you... that's how you refer to it... in the past tense... if you talk about biting your nails you will refer to it in the past tense... you will say if you are having a conversation with other people... I used to bite my nails... and that's how you will refer to the habit of biting your nails... you will refer to it as the past tense...
