I also want you to mentally say the word… relax to yourself… just inside your mind… and every time that I ask you to say the word…

a feeling of comfort… a feeling of calmness… just a wonderful soothing feeling of relaxation will just wash over you… and every time that I ask you to say the word…

relax… I want you to imagine… I want you to imagine in your mind's eye… turning down the volume… turning down the ringing… turning down the buzzing… turning down that unwanted noise… and every time that I ask you to say the word…

this unwanted noise… this ringing… and this buzzing will becoming less and less… as you turn the volume down… so in your mind say to yourself now…

and as you do… a feeling of comfort… a feeling of calmness… a feeling of relaxation begins to spread… from the very top of your head… spreads down into the muscles of your face… spreading to the muscles of your neck… a calmness… a wonderful feeling of relaxation… a feeling of comfort… moving… spreading across your entire body… turning down the volume… the volume getting less and less… the ringing… and the buzzing… the unwanted noise… turning that down… getting lower… lower now… and again in your mind say to yourself…

and now this feeling of comfort… this feeling of calmness… this feeling of relaxation… now begins to spread… spreads across your shoulders… spreads down your arms… all the way down to your fingertips… a wonderful soothing feeling of calmness… a wonderful soothing feeling of relaxation… a wonderful calmness… just washing over your entire body… as the volume just gets lower… and lower… and again say to yourself inside your mind…

and now this feeling of comfort… this wonderful soothing feeling of relaxation… and this calmness… it now spreads into the muscles of your back… a wonderful calmness… a wonderful feeling of comfort… just a wonderful soothing feeling of relaxation… it spreads down into the muscles… into the nerves… into the fibres of your back… as the volume now just gets lower… and lower… and again say to yourself inside your mind…
